Hello,

The Checkers War was started about a year ago, when I found a nice programmer who wished to create a game with me, we found a 3d modeller and found a few concept artists here at deviant art. The process began, we had a few models, a few designs, and a workable game, and we even had a few verbal recordings. After about a month the team slowly slipped away to do their own personal projects, they unfortunately took all the work with them as I lost contact with each of them in turn.

A year later and a year wiser, I've learnt what went wrong there, and what went right, the idea and the features of the game were easy and fun, but I wasn't on the team enough to get the results I wanted. I've been working on a few games now and think I'm finally ready to lift the mantel again and sort this whole mess out as my first, real, game.
